THE PLOT:

Shrek and Fiona are happy and had a fun adventure filled Honeymoon. Once home, they are confronted by royal visitors with a royal decree that invites them to a Royal Ball in their honor.

So Shrek and Fiona are off to "meet the parents". Of course maybe they should have sent a note telling the whole story, for when they arrive, the King and Queen are shocked by the two Orges stand at the door.

To make matters worse, the Fairy Godmother is more like the "GODFATHER". A favor for a favor and this Fairy Godmother did the king a big favor once and she wants her son, Prince Charming to marry Fiona which means getting Shrek out of the picture and when the hired Ogre slayer fails, they come up with a plan you have to see to believe.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

This movie has a great cast and great dialog. It's funny, it's touching. It has great animation. Let's face it, I have nothing bad to say about SHREK 2. I even love the DVD, which has Eddie Murphy bugging the rest of the cast in a BRADY BUNCH type checkerboard windows. This is a great movie and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves the first movie. I must give SHREK 2....10 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree with Zedd on this. Shrek 2 is even cooler then the first movie. I loved it when Jennifer Saunders sang "I need a hero." Jennifer Saunders has a pretty good singing voice. I was also suprised to learn that she's one of the two from Absolutley Fabulous, a show that I wasn't crazy about to tell you the truth. Anyway, I also recommend it. However, if you didn't like the first movie or just aren't into animated movies then this isn't for you, I too give it...10 STARS

ON THE POSSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ STORY (The parodies of famous fairy tales is very funny, and the story works)
+ HERO (Having the handome Prince Charming the villian and having the monster the hero is a twist that I love)
+ VOICE CAST (The vocal cast of big stars did a great job)
+ ANIMATION (I love the animation of both movies)
+ DVD (I love Donkey on the front page of the DVD)
+ FUNNY AND TOUCHING (The story is funny and very touching.)
+ MUSIC (Not orignal music, but still cool)
+ A MUST (If you are a fan of the first movie, then you must see this one)
