THE PLOT:

Scooby and the gang travel to see their friend that is learning to design video games. He has designed a Scooby-Doo video game. But the monster known as the Phantom Virus is haunting the area and the guys are up to their necks in another mystery.

But the mystery gets serious when someone or someones of unknown origin traps the sleuths within the Scooby-Doo game. Now they must find the Scooby snacks on each level avoiding the monsters and the Phantom Virus in order to escape this virtual nightmare.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

Okay Scooby fans, this is the big one. Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase is one of the more interesting of the newer Scooby movies, the Phantom Virus is cool and seeing some of the old villains in video game form is cool. The Tar Monster, the Gator Ghoul and old Iron Face are some of my favorite of the old villains. The story works and the mystery is compelling. But why couldn't they get Cassey Cassium to play Shaggy? I miss him, as far as I'm concerned Cassey is Shaggy and anyone else is a poor imitation to greatness. But that's only a minor complaint for Scooby-Fans, this is one you will want to add to your collection of Scooby-DVDs. Missing Scooby-Doo and is the Cyber Chase is a Scooby-Don't. 9 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree, I've been a fan of Scooby since I was just a kid myself. Now the cast may change but the spirit of the show continues and I got to admit that I did enjoy the movie even without Cassey Cassium. But I am going to say I enjoyed it more without Cassey because that would be a lie. 9 STARS.
