ZEDD'S OPINION:
This is a cool family sci-fi comedy with lots of action, laughs and touching moments to make the toughest family member weep.
Though the "Boy and His Robot" theme is a standard in Japanese Anime it's somewhat new in American animation and
I think it was done brilliantly, now there are some minor character issues but as a whole it's a great flick that deserves
attention. 9 STARS!

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
If you are are a regular reader of the Buried Treasure section then you know how I feel about the Iron Giant. I feel it's
underrated and more people need to find out how great it is. My advice to you is rent it, know it, love it. 9 STARS

ON THE POSSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ ANIMATION (The animation is great.)
+ STORY (Basic but it works.)
+ CHARACTERS (Most of the characters are cool.)
+ FUNNY AND TOUCHING (A good balance of humor and sad parts.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- MINOR CHARACTER ISSUES (There was one or two characters I didn't like.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If for some twisted reason you don't like giant robots, then this may not be for you.)
