THE PLOT:
Five years have past since that fatefilled Christmas Eve Night. Five years and the old shop keeper still has Gizmo in his
shoppe. But Daniel Clamp wants to buy the old shopkeep's building and when he refuses to sell. They decide to wait, because
they knew he didn't have much time left.
They bought the building after his passing and demolishes it, with all the antiques and Gizmo still inside, Gizmo escapes
the falling building only to be captured by twin scientists.
They take them to Clamp Tower where Billy and Katie now work. Billy finds out that Gizmo is here and rescues him before
Doctor Catheter could disect him. But while being sexually harrased by his female boss Marla Bloodstone over dinner, a clumsy
Janitor (Played by John Astin) Gizmo gets wet and a new batch of evil Gremlins grow.
While one they called Mohawk, but I call Blackstripe tortures Gizmo, the others have fun at the genetics lab, gaining
strange and cool new powers. Now Billy, Katie and Daniel must find a way to stop them before they run amuck over New York
City and then the world!!!!
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Now I liked the first one, unlike allot of parents who I hear took there kids thinking it was some "Bambi" type
movie and find it a scary monster movie. Bitched about it and that's why we have PG-13. They never billed it as a kid's
movie, but they did this time. Bugs and Daffy mini-cartoon in the beginning. I think they overdid the kids stuff, and I
think that's why it didn't do as well in the box office, the parents didn't come. But speaking as a hardcore monster fan
and someone who liked the first one, I love the new batch of Gremlins, they look really cool. It was very funny, over the
tops sometimes. But still very funny. The late great Tony Randell was great as the voice of the Brain Gremlin. An almost
perfect movie, which I give 8 STARS to.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd, they did make it alittle childish and they didn't have to. Also, I must air my grevence about the scene
when they tare down the old man's building. What about the Grandson, what happened to him in five years, why wasn't he there
demanding to take the stuff out? Why would he just leave Gizmo there to die? Plus, what crooked construction worker in his
right mind would pass up an oppurnity to steal anchiet relics for a fast hundred bucks? None, that's how mamy. But my favorite
of this new batch is the girl Gremlin, the female hormones or whatever made that one sweet and not a monstreous killer anymore.
I give it....9 STARS
ON THE POSSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ STORY (Gremlins in a high tech futuristic building, that works)
+ MORE CHARACTER (The new Gremlins have more character in their faces.)
+ MUTANT GREMLINS (Giving them all these different and unique powers was cool)
+ TONY RANDELL (He was Brain Gremlin.)
+ GIZMO (Having Gizmo pump up to fight back.)
+ CAST (The entire cast was great)
+ FUNNY (The bulk of the movie was pretty funny.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- OVER THE TOP (Some of the humor got silly over the top.)
- KIDS MOVIE (They shouldn't made this a kid's movie. Remembering all the bitching the parents did after they took their
kids to the first Gremlins.)
AND FINALLY....
- HULK HOGAN CAMEO (My Father will shoot me for this, but I thought the Hulk Hogan cameo wasn't needed and seemed tacked
on.)
