THE PLOT:
The story of Max, a Magician who isn't very good, but recites part of a magic spell he learned from an old book he found.
Which enrages a leader of an army of ghosts and allows Max to see spirits now.
Now with the help of two spirits, he's out to stop Phears and save the world if only he can find the rest of the spell
before he unleashes his horde onto the world.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Now this is a pretty good movie with a great cast and great effects. Now why most of R.L. Stine's heroes seem to be the likable
loser type I don't know, but Brian Stepanek was brilliant as the villain he can do more with a look then many actors can do
with their whole bodies. 9 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd, this is a fun family movie with all the aspects you would expect from Stine's twisted world and all the
fun of a great cast who enjoy the story. I also give it 9 STARS.

ON THE POSSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ STORY (The story works.)
+ CAST (The cast does an amazing job.)
+ BRAIN STEPANEK (Brian Stepanek does a wonderful job as the bad guy.)
+ FRIGHTS AND LAUGHS (Plenty of frights and jokes to go around.)
+ EFFECTS (Amazing effects.)
AND FINALLY...
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- MAIN CHARACTERS (Is it just me but are all Stine's heroes seem to be likable losers?)
