THE PLOT:

The time has arrived, after a long engagement and many life and death battles with the forces of evil. From the desert rat, Abiz'mal to evil Encarnet Mirage. The day has come, the day of their marriage. But bad timing for the legendary 40 thieves to crash the party.

In a ironic and creul twist of fate, the leader of the Forty Thieves is Aladdin's astranged Father who left home when he was a mere boy to gain a fortune to better his family, not knowing his wife has died from illness and his young son had to become a thief to survive.

Now Aladdin and his Father is out to find the moving island in order to sercure the hand of Midas to gain a fortune in gold. But there are members of the forty thieves and the Palace Gaurd who'd rather see Aladdin hang.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

I never knew why Robin didn't do the second movie, now I do. It was due to an dispute with Disney over merchandising. But all that's over Robin Williams is back as Genie and God did I miss him. Not that Dan Castellaneta didn't do a good job filling in for him in THE RETURN OF JAFAR and the TV SERIES. But Robin is genie. Now the music and the plot works for the most part. The only thing I don't get is why they didn't arrest that one Guard who hates Aladdin and will do anything to see him dead. He worked for Jafar in the first movie, he should have been executed for treason after that. But when they find out the King Of Thieves is Aladdin's father they treat him like dirt. Forgetting this was the man who abandoned his family to search for wealth, and he never saw since he was a mere boy. Guilt by bloodline is just wrong. But it makes up for that in other ways and I give it 7 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree with Zedd again on Aladdin 3. It's nice to get a sence of closure with a movie. But I wouldn't mind seeing more from Aladdin, Jasmine and Genie and how the adventures of Marriage takes them. But that's not my decision. 7 STARS as well.

ON THE POSSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ ANIMATION (Disney does it again.)
+ STORY (For the most part, works.)
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ MUSIC (The music is great.)
+ ROBIN WILLIAMS (It's good to hear your voice.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- GUILT BY BLOODLINE (It was wrong to treat Aladdin that was just because who his Father is.)
- JERK GUARD (Why didn't they execute that trator when he worked for Jafar in the first flick?)

AND FINALLY...

- FAN BASED (If you aren't a fan of the first two movies, then this isn't the movie for you.)
